Unlock Your
Movement Potential With Stretch Therapy
Stretch Therapy is a simple way to help your body move more freely and comfortably. In individual sessions, group classes, workshops or via video, you receive guidance to gently contract and relax specific muscles teaching your nervous system to 'let go' of tight areas, so your joints can move through a bigger, easier range. Over time, Stretch Therapy can ease everyday stiffness, reduce nagging aches, improve flexibility and help you feel more confident in how your physical ability on a daily basis.
The Science of Movement
Stretch Therapy uses 'Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation' (PNF) stretching which is a powerful way to safely improve flexibility and joint range of motion. By combining gentle stretching with brief muscle contractions, it helps reset how your nervous system allows muscles to lengthen, often leading to faster gains than regular static stretching. PNF can also improve muscle control and stability, which supports better posture and movement patterns in daily life and sport. Over time, this method may reduce stiffness, ease discomfort, and help prevent injuries by keeping muscles both flexible and strong.
Put simply, Stretch Therapy is a change to your lifestyle that will improve your physical wellbeing.
15-35%
Increased Joint Range
Proven after several weeks of PNF stretching.
20-30%
Reduced Pain
Demonstrated in clinical trials on people with musculoskeletal pain compared with usual care or static stretching.
8-10%
Range of Movement Gains
After a single Stretch Therapy session.
Assisted vs. Self-led
Unlike a self-led Pilates class, individual Stretch Therapy sessions provide hands-on assisted stretching where the therapist guides your muscle contractions to ensure safety and precision.
If you are comfortable with or have experience of stretching, then group Stretch Therapy classes use the same method with either the teacher, or the participant guiding the contractions. This is complimented by a Pilates-based warm up and cool down to ensure you body is ready to stretch.
Why Stretch Therapy?
If you already participate in Pilates or other body conditioning classes you may be wondering why you should also use this method when you already stretch.
There are a number of options for participating in Stretch Therapy either individually, in class or online.
Neural & Fascial Focus
While Pilates targets a balance of strength and flexibility, stretch therapy dives deeper into the flexibility side using methods that specifically reset your nervous system and hydrate fascia to release deep-seated structural tightness.
Think of your fascia like a sponge: When it's hydrated, it stays bouncy and slippery, allowing your muscles and joints to glide without friction. Keeping this tissue well-watered helps you bounce back faster from exercise, eases localized aches, and makes every movement feel smoother and more effortless. PNF stretching enables your fascia to slide and absorb fluid more effectively, acting like a pump to pull in the hydration needed for better flexibility, comfort, and recovery.
Targeted Range Improvement
We focus directly on your internal roadblocks by targeting specific tight zones rather than using a general whole-body approach. This precision helps you conquer personal milestones like achieving deeper squats, reaching overhead with ease, or simply enjoying pain-free daily movement. By unlocking these restricted areas, we ensure your body performs exactly how you need it to.

Behind Espilates
I'm Eloise, a Pilates teacher with over a decade of experience running my own Pilates business in the Sutton Coldfield area.
My training and experience have led me down a lot of different avenues, however, adding Stretch Therapy to my service offering is something I have become very passionate about. I believe now more than ever we need to ensure that looking after our body’s movement mechanics is an integral part of our daily routines.
Like driving a car, we should exercise the potential to keep our parts running and oiled and in turn help combat chronic pain, movement decline and stiffness. The easier we are able to move, the more we are able to thrive.
Stretch therapy is your opportunity to stay mobile, manage pain, reduce discomfort, and remove hurdles from your daily life. It is also your opportunity to compliment and improve sport and fitness performance, prevent injury and aid recovery.
The possibilities and benefits are endless, and the more we are able to help ourselves, the less we will need to rely on intervention from over subscribed health professionals.

This isn't stretching to feel good or relax, this is an entire method that will change your body's capabilities, help fight off or manage injury and/or joint disease, and put you in control of how your body feels and what it can do. Around 50% of people stretch incorrectly, putting them at greater risk of damage during physical practices.
“Choose progress over decline.”
